Bhoruka Extrusions (A YKK AP Company) is now the FIRST aluminium extruder in India to publish an internationally verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Powder Coated Aluminium Extruded Profiles.

An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) transparently communicates the environmental impact of a product across its entire lifecycle – from raw material, extrusion, finishing, packaging, transportation, and recycling – based on scientifically verified Life Cycle Assessment methodology.

This EPD has been developed as per international standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804, and is published on the International EPD System (Environdec).

This is the first step Bhoruka has taken towards transparency, aligned with YKK AP’s global commitment towards sustainability and reducing environmental impact across the product lifecycle.

Going forward, our focus will be on:
• Increasing recycled aluminium content
• Increasing use of low carbon aluminium
• Increasing renewable energy usage
• Improving resource efficiency
• Continuously reducing lifecycle carbon footprint

We believe transparency is the foundation for meaningful carbon reduction.

Being the first aluminium extruder in India to publish an EPD is not a small milestone – it reflects the direction in which the industry is moving.
